Annual event makes a difference for more than 1,500 of the district’s most vulnerable students and their families

Fairfield, CA (June 23, 2026) – Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District (FSUSD) is inviting community organizations, public agencies, nonprofit groups, and local businesses to support the District's annual Back-to-School Resource Fair on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Fairfield.

The Back-to-School Resource Fair serves as a one-stop event connecting students and families with valuable resources, services, and supports as they prepare for the upcoming school year. The event brings together organizations from across the community to provide information, assistance, and opportunities that help students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Last year, there were more than 15 sponsors and 62 exhibitors who participated in the event, helping make a meaningful difference in the lives of more than 1,500 students and family members. District leaders are hopeful that even more organizations will join this year's effort to support local families.

Monetary and in-kind donations are accepted! Partners interested in donating can go to www.fsusd.org/Donate for more information. Organizations interested in participating as exhibitors can register by completing the Exhibitor Interest Form: fsusdlinks.org/Exhibitor

"The Back-to-School Resource Fair reflects the power of community partnerships," said Dr. Jessica Reed, Assistant Director of Student and Family Services and event organizer. "When schools, community organizations, and local agencies come together, we can help ensure students and families have access to the resources they need for a successful start to the school year."

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to connect directly with families, share information about programs and services, and build relationships that support student success throughout the year.

"We are grateful for our partners who make such a positive impact on our students and families," said FSUSD Superintendent Jennifer Sachs. “Only with our community’s support can we ensure that every student begins the school year feeling confident and ready to learn."

Additional event information and flyers are available at www.fsusd.org/BTSRF.
